Here's a little history about me. I am currently a martial arts practitioner and instructor. I have been training for over 10 years. I train and teach at my school five days a week.

My first school was strictly Kenpo while my current one offers Kenpo, Kickboxing, Aikido, Jui-Jitsu, Kung Fu, Tae Kwon Do, Boxing  and tournament sparring. I picked my first school based on two things: First, it came highly recommended from a friend of mine who had trained there but had stopped. Second, I saw the movie, "The Perfect Weapon" with Jeff Speakman. Speakman's art of choice is Kenpo and it seemed very exciting and exotic to me at the time. I was very serious in my training but a couple of relocations made it impossible for me to continue there. I took valuable experience from my being a student and instructor there.

While I was very proud of what I had accomplished up to that point, my training had left me with questions in my martial arts ability. Instead of hooking up with another Kenpo school right away, I decided to take a different approach to finding a new one. I knew without a doubt that martial arts would still be a part of my life, but I wanted to make sure the one I chose gave me the confidence and value that I was looking for. For the next two years, I visited almost every school in my area. The better ones got a second visit while the one I finally chose, a third. I was fortunate in that my experience with my previous dojo helped me tremendously in choosing my current school. It had helped me to know exactly what I was looking for and how to go about finding it. Because I took the time to do the research, I am now a prominent instructor there and get paid to do what I love. I am able to make money doing what I gladly paid for in the past.

I created this service so I could help others achieve some of what I have. Whether your interested in martial arts as a recreational hobby, self defense or competition, it is vital to know what your looking for. Unfortunately, there's no way to know what you don't know unless you talk to someone. I enjoy sharing my love for the martial arts with others and the best way I can do that is to offer my experience to those who need it. My hope is that if you live in the Bay Area and are looking to start training, you take advantage of what I'm offering. I know you will find value in it if you just give it a try and I wish you luck in your journey!
